The word Routine:performed as part of a regular procedure rather than for a special reason. Immunization: is the process whereby a person is made immune or resistant to an infectious disease, typically by the administration of a vaccine. Vaccines stimulate the body's own immune system to protect the person against subsequent infection or disease. Therefore giving the vaccination from time to time to protect a person or animal against a disease by putting a substance into their body that makes them produce antibodies. The process of inducing immunity to an infectious organism in an individual or animal through vaccination. A vaccination that induces immunity. A recommended schedule of immunization for infants and young children includes vaccines against diphtheria, polio, tetanus, measles, mumps,and rubella.Immunization is a healthy choice that saves lives.Vaccines have saved the lives of more babies and children than any other medical intervention in the last 50 years. When you immunize your child you' re protecting them against illness.
